We are seeking a Data Scientist with an interest in Natural Language Processing (NLP). In this role, you will assist in developing NLP models, applyproblem solvingskills, and support in pretraining and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs). The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of data science, with a desire to specialise in NLP and machine learning, and a passion for learning and developing real-world solutions.
As a Data Scientist, your daily workload might include:
Assist in the development and implementation of Natural Language Processing (NLP) models.
Applyproblem-solving skillsto assist in the development of new solutions, with a focus onlearning and growth.
Support in pretraining and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) for specific tasks, such as document summarization and question answering.
Collaborate withcross-functional teamsto implement models, monitor outcomes, and iterate on solutions.
Conduct data analysis and exploratory research to uncover patterns, trends, and insights that can improve model performance and drive business outcomes.
Assist in the evaluation and selection of appropriate algorithms, techniques, and methodologies for solving specific NLP problems.
Collaborate with senior data scientists and managers to document and communicate the results of model development and experiments effectively.
Stayup-to-datewith the latest advancements in NLP, machine learning, and related fields, actively seeking opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Proficiency in Arabic language. Knowledge ofModernStandard Arabic grammar and morphology is a plus.
+3 years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
Solid understanding of machine learning, NLP, and deep learning techniques.
Familiarity with Python’s NLP libraries such as NLTK, Spa Cy, and Hugging Face Transformers.
Excellentproblem-solving skillswith an emphasis on product development.
Handson experience in deep learning frameworks such as Tensor Flow or PyTorch.
Experience in R&D is a plus.
Experience in pre-training, fine-tuning, and building LLMs, with demonstrable results is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
Must be Humble, Excellent, Relevant with a high sense of Ownership.
