Job Title: Data Annotator (Computer Vision – Retail Shelf Images)

About the Role:
We are building an AI system to detect products on retail shelves (FMCG) and measure availability, facings, and compliance. We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Annotator to label shelf images with high consistency and accuracy
Responsibilities:
- Annotate retail shelf images using Roboflow
- Draw bounding boxes around individual SKUs
- Apply correct SKU labels based on predefined naming conventions
- Follow strict annotation guidelines (provided)
- Review and correct auto-labeled images
- Flag unclear or ambiguous cases
Requirements:
- Experience with image annotation tools (Roboflow preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to follow structured labeling rules
- Basic understanding of retail products (FMCG is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience with object detection datasets
- Familiarity with SKU-level labeling
- Experience reviewing AI-generated annotations
Important:
You will be tested on a small sample task before hiring. Accuracy and consistency matter more than speed
