We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Customs Broker Clerk to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UAE Customs regulations, clearances procedures, and port operations, ensuring smooth and compliant import/export activities for our clients.
Key Responsibiities:
- Handle end-to-end customs clearance for imports and exports across UAE ports
- Prepare, review, and submit customs documentation in compliance with UAE laws.
- Classify goods using HS codes and ensure accurate duty and tax calculations.
- Coordinate with customs authorities, port officials, and shipping lines.
- Monitor shipment status and resolve clearance issues or delays.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits, and trade requirements.
- Advise clients on customs procedures, restrictions, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Customs Broker in the UAE.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE customs regulations, procedures, and systems (e.g., Dubai Trade, Mirsal II, etc.)
- Strong understanding of HS codes, duties, and trade compliance.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
