Position Overview
The Credit Analyst will be responsible for evaluating creditworthiness, analyzing financial data, and supporting credit decision-making processes. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong analytical skills who can assess risk, maintain portfolio quality, and support sound financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess credit applications and evaluate customer financial profiles
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and payment histories
- Determine credit limits and recommend approval or rejection decisions
- Monitor existing accounts for credit risk and payment performance
- Prepare credit analysis reports and risk assessments for management
- Support debt collection strategies and follow-up on overdue accounts
- Maintain accurate credit records and documentation
- Collaborate with sales and finance teams to manage credit exposure
- Assist in developing and improving credit policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and credit guidelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in credit analysis or financial risk assessment
- Strong understanding of financial statements and credit evaluation techniques
- Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
