Crane Technician – Taleb Group

Taleb Group is seeking a skilled and dedicated Crane Technician to join our maintenance team in Qatar. If you have experience maintaining and repairing cranes and lifting equipment, and are committed to safety and operational excellence, we would like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mobile, overhead, tower, and other lifting equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults.
- Conduct inspections to ensure cranes operate safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot control systems, sensors, limit switches, and safety devices.
- Carry out equipment servicing, repairs, component replacement, and overhauls.
- Test and commission cranes following maintenance and repairs.
- Complete maintenance reports and maintain accurate service records.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and manufacturer standards.
- Coordinate with operations personnel to minimise equipment downtime.
Requirements
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Crane Technician or Heavy Equipment Technician.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- Experience with crane brands such as Liebherr, Tadano, Grove, Konecranes, Demag, Terex, Manitowoc, or equivalent is preferred.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- GCC experience is an advantage.
