Job Description
The Country Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operations, sales strategies, and financial planning within the designated region. This role ensures alignment with overall corporate goals while driving sustainable growth in the local market.
Candidate Responsibilities
Develop and execute the country’s business plan, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Lead and manage the sales team to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
Provide regular updates to senior management on market trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
Oversee inventory planning and control to maintain optimal stock levels.
Manage financial performance, including minimizing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
Prepare detailed performance reports and market analysis as needed.
Recruit, train, and develop sales staff, promoting a culture of high performance.
Mentor and lead direct reports to ensure team alignment with organizational goals.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to communicate customer needs and market feedback.
Work with marketing to plan and execute promotional campaigns and market expansion strategies.
Coordinate with other regional or country managers to align efforts and share insights.
Ensure full compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Perform additional duties as required to support the company’s strategic initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
Minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership role with a successful track record in sales and business development.
Strong leadership capabilities, with proven ability to mentor and inspire teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive management style.
Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Industry knowledge and established relationships in the relevant sector are highly desirable.
Technical product experience is a plus, especially in areas involving complex solutions or capital equipment.
