Job Title: Cost Controller (Tunneling Projects)
ob Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Cost Controller with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in infrastructure projects, specifically tunneling works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing project cost control processes, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or related field
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in cost control within infrastructure/tunneling projects
- Strong knowledge of project cost management, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience with ERP systems and cost control tools
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
- Familiarity with UAE construction market and cost structures
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in large-scale tunneling projects (TBM/NATM)
- Strong analytical and financial management skills
- Ability to work with large datasets and complex cost structures
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts
- Monitor and control project expenditures against approved budgets
- Track costs related to tunneling and underground works, including materials, labor, and equipment
- Prepare cost reports, variance analysis, and financial dashboards
- Identify cost risks, deviations, and recommend corrective actions
- Work closely with Planning, Procurement, and Commercial teams for cost alignment
- Review and validate invoices, subcontractor payments, and commitments
- Support change management, variations, and claims from a cost perspective
- Ensure proper cost allocation and coding in financial systems
- Maintain accurate cost records and ensure compliance with company policies
Pay: AED18,000.00 – AED22,000.00 per month
