Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist to oversee strategic contracting and category management. In this role, you will develop and execute procurement and contracting strategies, manage tendering processes, and lead high-level negotiations to secure optimal commercial terms.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Category Management: Engage with stakeholders for category management along with the Centre of Excellence (COE) Team to prepare strategy, including tendering and procurement strategy for strategic sourcing and contract management.
- Negotiation & Award: Conduct negotiations and manage the negotiation of contracting packages of contracts.
- ITT/ITB Management: Compile and manage ITT/ITB (Invitation to Tender / Invitation to Bid) packages for all forms of contracts.
- Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Experience: 10–15 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Material / Supply Management functions.
- Must include experience within the oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
- Must have at least three (3) years of experience in Qafco.
- Certification: Professional Certification in Material / Supply Management or Business Administration is highly advantageous.
Technical & Specialized Skills
- Contracting Expertise: Experienced in contractual terms & conditions (with multinational exposure).
- Commercial Knowledge: Strong, practical knowledge of Contractual and Logistics, Insurance terms, conditions, and terminologies.
