Consultant Oral and Dental Surgeon Leading Health Care Facility

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Oral & Dental Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide advanced surgical and clinical management of complex oral, maxillofacial, and dental conditions. This role involves delivering high-quality elective and emergency surgical care, working within a multidisciplinary environment, and ensuring excellence in patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage complex oral and maxillofacial surgical conditions.
• Perform advanced oral surgical procedures, including impacted teeth removal, jaw surgeries, and soft/hard tissue procedures.
• Manage facial trauma cases and emergency oral surgical interventions.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and post-operative care.
• Perform reconstructive and corrective oral and dental surgical procedures when indicated.
• Interpret radiographic and diagnostic imaging for surgical planning.
• Collaborate with orthodontics, ENT, anesthesia, radiology, and other specialties.
• Ensure adherence to infection control, patient safety, and clinical governance standards.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in audits, morbidity & mortality meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior dentists and surgical staff

Requirements

• MBBS or BDS (as applicable) from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery / Dental Surgery (FRCS, Board Certification, MDS, CCT, Arab Board, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years post-specialization experience, including consultant-level practice.
• Strong expertise in oral surgery, maxillofacial procedures, and dental trauma management.
• Proficiency in both elective and emergency surgical procedures.
• Strong clinical judgment and surgical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
• Experience in a tertiary care or multi-specialty hospital setting preferred.
