Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project estimations, conducting cost analysis, and ensuring the smooth execution of electrical engineering projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with project managers, clients, and design teams to develop accurate estimates, manage budgets, and support project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate electrical cost estimates for new and ongoing projects, ensuring they align with client specifications and industry standards.
- Analyze project requirements, technical specifications, and design documents to calculate material, labor, and equipment costs.
- Collaborate with the project management team to establish project budgets and timelines.
- Review tender documents and identify risks or opportunities for cost optimization.
- Monitor and control project costs during the execution phase, ensuring estimates are adhered to.
- Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
- Assist in the preparation of project bids, proposals, and contracts.
- Perform value engineering analysis to suggest cost-effective alternatives.
- Support the project execution team with detailed cost tracking and reporting.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, standards, and technologies.
