Consultant Geriatrician (Arabic Speaker) – Abu Dhabi

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant Geriatrician (Arabic Speaker) to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care for older adults, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of age-related health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic illnesses in elderly patients.
• Develop individualized care plans addressing complex medical, functional, and cognitive needs.
• Manage conditions such as dementia, frailty, falls, osteoporosis, polypharmacy, and chronic diseases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including rehabilitation, nursing, and social services.
• Promote healthy aging, preventive care, and patient education.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and medical education.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Recognized Board Certification/CCT/Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine or Internal Medicine with specialization in Geriatrics.
• Valid DOH License/Eligibility Letter or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum 3-5 years of Consultant-level experience in Geriatric Medicine.
• 
  Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
