Job Profile: Construction Manager (Minor Works)Core Responsibilities
- Project Execution: Manage day-to-day operations for multiple simultaneous minor works (e.g., small excavations, fencing, pipeline connections, and site clearing).
- Site Supervision: Direct foremen, surveyors, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to scope, budget, and project timelines.
- Quality Control: Inspect work-in-progress to ensure alignment with engineering designs and Hills & Fort Construction quality benchmarks.
- HSE Compliance: Enforce strict health and safety procedures on-site to minimize incidents across varying work zones.
- Resource Allocation: Oversee material procurement, equipment, and labor distribution to maintain high productivity. [1]
- Client & Authority Liaison: Coordinate with UAE municipalities, developers, and homeowners for site permits, inspections, and project handovers.
- Progress Reporting: Generate regular reports on job status, track variation orders, and manage potential on-site risks.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Experience: 7+ years of construction experience, with a proven track record in the UAE or GCC managing infrastructure or utility projects.
- Certifications: NEBOSH IGC or equivalent UAE HSE qualifications. PMP is a plus.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Dubai Municipality or local authority regulations, as well as FIDIC subcontract procedures.
- Licensing: Valid UAE Driving License is required for multi-site project management.
- Skills: Strong communication, scheduling capabilities, and proficiency in project management software
Pay: AED8,548.45 – AED15,000.00 per month
