Description
We’re looking for a Compliance Associate (AML)! As an Compliance Associate (AML) at Tweeq, you will be responsible for executing the company’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) framework.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, regulators, and external partners to ensure compliance with all relevant SAMA regulations and international best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain Tweeq’s AML/CTF policies, procedures, and controls in line with SAMA guidelines and FATF standards.
Conduct transaction monitoring and customer activity reviews using AML systems to identify and escalate suspicious activity.
Perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for high-risk customers and oversee ongoing KYC reviews.
Prepare and submit Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to the appropriate authorities.
Stay up to date on regulatory developments and changes in local and international AML laws.
Coordinate internal AML/CTF training and awareness programs for relevant staff.
Assist in internal and external audits and SAMA examinations.
Support the MLRO in managing AML investigations and regulatory reporting.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance activities and findings.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
1 to 2 years of experience in AML/CTF compliance, preferably within fintech, digital wallets, or regulated financial institutions.
Strong knowledge of SAMA AML/CTF regulations and FATF recommendations.
Experience with AML monitoring tools and KYC systems.
CAMS or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
Strong analytical, investigative, and reporting skills.
Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
