Duration: 7 months (Extendable)
Hours/rotation: Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid).
Salary range: Excellent salary package with benefits.

Job summary/Role description
Commissioning Engineer ensures the development of the deliverables of the project pertaining to commissioning within the project.
Operates in compliance with quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations, and follows stated procedures.
Acts as commissioning operation superintendent when the commissioning operation superintendent is on leave and/or on business assignment.
Duties and responsibilities
Prepare project documents and deliverables (such as systems breakdown structure, mark-up of P&I diagrams, schedule of activities, pre-commissioning manual, pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures) in compliance with project requirements.
Coordinate with the engineering department to prepare and update the engineering database, both in home office and on site.
Support implementation of the electronic project completion system linked to the engineering database.
Finalize the certification matrix.
Prepare the schedule of activities, follow up on updates, and monitor progress.
Analyze construction completion packages (DAC) issued from construction and advise CMM or CST about the status of verified DAC prior to formal acceptance by the commissioning team.
Facilitate completion of pre-commissioning activities through checking certificates and punch lists.
Participate in reviewing and planning availability of lubricants, chemicals, catalysts, and other products required for commissioning.
Coordinate field activities assigned to supervisors when requested by the commissioning manager.
Participate in preparing the commissioning dossier.
Collect and organize the discipline DAC punch list, ensuring that punch lists issued by the commissioning team are correctly filled and forwarded to QC.
Person Specification
Knowledge & Qualifications
University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years work experience.
Significant experience in a similar position on EPC oil & gas projects/refinery.
Skills and Abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail, management skills.
Team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
