Overall Summary
Principal Electrical Designer with proven experience in the design of substations, transmission and distribution systems in the Oil & Gas, hydrocarbon and/or infrastructure industries. Minimum 15 years’ experience in FEED and detailed engineering of medium to large scale projects is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Plant and facility layout support and coordination
•Plant and facility layout and distribution
•Develop Area Classifications drawings
•Develop equipment layout
•Develop Physical design drawings (grounding/earthing, lighting protection, lighting voltage drop calculations, AG Power & Control, UG Cable/conduit, cable tray designs, etc)
•Develop LV/MV schematics
Key Skills & Technical Competencies:
•Must be a reliable designer who can work independently and able to lead/guide a team of 5 -10 electrical designers
•Must be proficient in developing design drawings using MicroStation
•Knowledge of Saudi Aramco CADD standards is an advantage
•Must have excellent knowledge & understanding of Design practices, Construction Practices and Procedures
•Must be proficient in English, oral and written communication.
