CNC Machinist (DMG/DMU and Mazak)

Job Summary

The CNC Machinist produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine and is responsible for maintaining part quality, safety standards & company equipment’s.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITY & AUTHORITY:-

• Follow all safety rules and policies provided by NOV.
• Produce/Machine threaded Connections & parts as per the provided drawing and program.
• Inspect and verify that each thread & part is generated as per the provided specification.
• Follow all the guidelines provided by the Superintendent.
• Maintain a neat and dean working environment.
• Responsible for all company equipment’s care, use, and protection. Know, understand, and follow all company and department safety rules.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Perform other duties as assigned by Superintendent.
• Perform job duties accurately and responsibly. Verify part and work order.

Qualifications (Education/No. of Years of Experience) :-

• Industrial / Manufacturing Diploma post-High School or vocational training courses in mechanical engineering with 2 years of experience.
• Work experience in Turner, Machinist, and Fitter trades.
• Experience in the following CNC Manchines:
  
• DMU 80-125-160
  
• Mazak Machines (ST450, STN500/550M),
• Oil & Gas experience in the manufacturing field.

Skills, Training, special knowledge, and/or Language skills:-

• Candidate must be familiar with operating a CNC machine, on Rotatory Shoulder Connections (API, Grant Prideco, Tenaris, Vam, etc.) and HWDP (Drill pipe, Drill Collars, and Drill Stem Components).
