Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to manage and monitor cricket memberships, as well as organize cricket-related events at various locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, a passion for cricket, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
Membership Management:
Oversee and manage the membership database, ensuring accurate records of all cricket club members.
Process new membership applications, renewals, and cancellations in a timely manner.
Coordinate with finance for membership fee collections and handle any related queries.
Regularly update members with information about upcoming events, renewals, and other important notifications.
Generate and analyze membership reports to monitor growth, retention, and member satisfaction.
Event Coordination:
Plan and organize cricket events, including matches, tournaments, training sessions, and social gatherings.
Coordinate with vendors, venues, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of events.
Manage event logistics, including scheduling, transportation, equipment, and catering.
Promote events through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and the club’s website.
Handle on-site event management, including setup, registration, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Communication & Liaison:
Serve as the main point of contact for members, providing support and addressing inquiries related to memberships and events.
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and communications, to promote membership benefits and events.
Maintain strong relationships with sponsors, partners, and community organizations to enhance event success and member engagement.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate records of all administrative activities, including contracts, invoices, and correspondence.
Assist with budget preparation and monitoring for memberships and events.
Prepare and present regular reports to the management team on membership trends, event outcomes, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in an administrative or event coordination role, preferably within a sports or membership-based organization.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
A passion for cricket and a good understanding of the sport is highly desirable.
Additional Requirements:
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed for events.
Ability to travel to different event locations as required.
