Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil/MEP Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of civil and/or mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects.
Responsibilities:
Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate and complete cost estimates.
Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
Prepare detailed cost breakdowns.
Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs.
Identify and quantify potential risks and opportunities.
Participate in value engineering and cost reduction efforts.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost data.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members.
Present estimates to management and clients.
Qualifications:
3-4 years of experience in civil and/or MEP estimating.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., [List software]).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
[Relevant certifications or licenses].
Experience working in the UAE or similar environments is a plus.
