Key Requirements & Job Responsibilities
- Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience in building maintenance, civil/MEP maintenance or facilities management, preferably UAE/Gulf experience.
- Strong practical experience in painting, wall & ceiling preparation, putty, primer, finishing and paint rectification.
- Good hands-on knowledge of carpentry and joinery, including doors, frames, cabinets, shelves, locks and general repairs.
- Experienced in gypsum works, including partitions, ceilings, board installation, patching and rectification.
- Carry out general civil, MEP and building maintenance works independently and to a good finishing standard.
- Basic practical knowledge of plumbing, including minor leaks, fittings, valves, sanitary fixtures and drainage.
- Basic knowledge of electrical maintenance, including lights, switches, sockets and minor electrical faults.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance and identify and rectify maintenance issues efficiently.
- Follow HSE requirements, PPE guidelines and all company/site safety procedures.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and keep tools, equipment and work areas clean and organized.
- Good communication skills and ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
- Physically fit and able to work at heights, on ladders and in restricted areas when required.
- Able to lift and carry materials, tools and equipment when required.
- Relevant ITI/Trade Certificate in Civil, Maintenance, MEP or related trade will be preferred.
- Must be presentable, professional, safety-conscious and able to work independently as well as support other MEP/maintenance technicians.
- Willing to work overtime or emergency call-outs when required.
- Practical trade test and previous employment references may be required.
Pay: AED2,500.00 – AED3,000.00 per month
