Estimator – Joinery & Fit-Out Jobs in Mussafah at IDEAL DESIGNER DECORATION CO. LLC
We are looking for an experienced Estimator with a strong background in joinery and interior fit-out projects.
The ideal candidate should be able to prepare accurate cost estimates, material take-offs, and BOQs based on drawings and specifications, with good knowledge of current UAE market prices.
Responsibilities
- Review drawings, specifications, and BOQs
- Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates
- Calculate material requirements for joinery and carpentry works
- Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Prepare and submit BOQs and tender documents
- Coordinate with the design, production, procurement, and site teams
- Maintain updated records of material and labour costs in the UAE market
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in joinery and fit-out estimation in the UAE
- Good knowledge of joinery materials, carpentry works, and hardware
- Strong understanding of UAE market prices for materials and labour
- Ability to read architectural, joinery, and shop drawings
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel
- Good communication and organisational skills
