Job Purpose:
To lead and supervise all civil works on-site, ensuring that construction activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Manage and lead a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and laborers, providing guidance and direction as needed.
- Monitor work progress and productivity, identifying and resolving any issues or obstacles that may arise during construction.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures, conducting regular safety inspections and promoting a safe work environment.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure project requirements are met.
- Plan and schedule construction activities, including the allocation of resources, equipment, and materials to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work progress, materials used, and manpower hours.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in project meetings, providing updates on project status, issues, and progress.
- Train and mentor construction workers and junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure quality control and quality assurance standards are met throughout the construction process.
- Manage subcontractor relationships, including issuing work orders, monitoring performance, and resolving disputes.
- Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment needed for construction projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent trade certification.
- 5-6 years of site supervision experience in building or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of construction procedures, safety standards, and ability to read drawings.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay: Up to QAR9,000.00 per month
