Civil Engineer – Job Requirements (3 Positions)
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Experience:
- Minimum relevant experience in civil construction, preferably in Qatar/GCC.
- Experience in water pipeline, utility, infrastructure, or underground services projects is preferred.
- Experience working on Kahramaa, Ashghal, or similar authority projects is an advantage.
Required Skills & Responsibilities:
- Experience managing excavation, trenching, bedding, backfilling, and road reinstatement works.
- Experience supervising valve chambers, thrust blocks, manholes, and other civil structures.
- Ability to review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and construction drawings.
- Good knowledge of Kahramaa standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.
- Experience coordinating with Kahramaa inspectors, consultants, and clients for inspections and approvals.
- Experience supervising subcontractors, site engineers, and construction activities.
- Ability to prepare daily progress reports and coordinate with project teams.
- Knowledge of HSE requirements and quality procedures.

Suitable Candidate Profile
A suitable candidate should have:
- ✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- ✔ 5+ years of relevant civil construction experience (preferably in Qatar/GCC)
- ✔ Experience in pipeline/utility infrastructure projects
- ✔ Experience with excavation, trenching, valve chambers, and reinstatement works
- ✔ Knowledge of Kahramaa standards
- ✔ Experience coordinating with consultants and Kahramaa inspectors
- ✔ Strong site supervision and subcontractor management skills
