Civil Draughtsman Jobs in Dubai at FUTURE DESIGN ENGG. CONSULTANT
We need a person who have a knowledge in Electrical and Mechnical Drafting both
Electrical Draftsman Responsibilities:
Drafting Electrical Layouts: Prepare detailed electrical drawings, including wiring, power distribution, lighting, and panel layouts using AutoCAD or other drafting software.
Schematic Diagrams: Develop electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and control circuits based on project requirements.
Coordination with Engineers: Work closely with electrical engineers to ensure accurate and efficient designs that meet project specifications.
Load Calculations & Cable Schedules: Assist in calculating electrical loads and preparing cable schedules, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and material lists.
Code Compliance: Ensure that all designs comply with local and international electrical codes and standards.
Revisions & Updates: Modify drawings as per design changes, client feedback, or site requirements.
As-Built Drawings: Prepare and update as-built drawings based on site execution and final approvals.
Documentation & Filing: Maintain organized records of drawings, specifications, and revisions for project documentation.
Clash Detection: Identify and resolve potential conflicts between electrical and other services (mechanical, plumbing, etc.).
Support for Site Work: Provide drafting support for site engineers and supervisors during installation and execution phases.
Mechanical Draftsman Responsibilities:
HVAC, Plumbing & Firefighting Drafting: Prepare detailed shop drawings for mechanical services, including HVAC (ducting, chilled water piping), plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Piping & Ducting Layouts: Develop plans and sections for piping networks, ductwork, and mechanical equipment placement.
Coordination with Engineers: Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure accurate and efficient system designs.
Fabrication Drawings: Prepare detailed drawings for mechanical components, including fabrication and assembly drawings.
BOQ & Material Lists: Assist in preparing bills of quantities and material schedules for procurement and execution.
Compliance with Standards: Ensure that mechanical drawings adhere to local and international codes such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and SMACNA.
Clash Coordination: Identify and resolve clashes with other disciplines (electrical, structural, etc.) using BIM or AutoCAD tools.
As-Built Drawings: Update and finalize drawings based on site conditions and installation changes.
Site Support: Provide drafting support for site engineers and ensure accurate implementation of drawings on-site.
