Civil CAD operator Jobs in Doha at Qatar Master W.L.L
We are seeking an experienced Civil CAD Operator with 7–8 years of experience in building construction projects. The ideal candidate should be proficient in preparing and modifying civil and architectural drawings, coordinating with engineers, and ensuring all drawings comply with project specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed civil and structural shop drawings, as-built drawings, and fabrication drawings.
- Review IFC drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Produce accurate 2D drawings using AutoCAD and related drafting software.
- Coordinate with Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers, and Project Teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and drawing revisions as required.
- Maintain drawing registers and document control procedures.
- Incorporate design changes, RFIs, and site instructions into drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
- Assist in preparing technical submissions and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with MEP and architectural disciplines to avoid clashes and discrepancies.
- Support site teams by providing updated drawings and resolving drafting-related issues.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum 7–8 years of experience as a Civil CAD Operator in building construction projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of construction standards, specifications, and drafting practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
