Chiller Technician Jobs in Dubai at Delta Point Technical Works
Duties & ResponsibilitiesChiller & HVAC Works
- Operate, inspect and maintain chillers and chilled water systems.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of chillers and HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot and attend chiller/HVAC breakdowns and emergency calls.
- Monitor chiller operating parameters, temperatures, pressures and ampere readings.
- Check chilled water supply and return temperatures.
- Maintain chilled water pumps, condenser water pumps, cooling towers, valves and associated equipment.
- Assist with condenser tube cleaning, coil cleaning and HVAC equipment servicing.
- Check compressors, motors, contactors, sensors, actuators, control panels and BMS-related points.
- Assist with refrigerant charging, leak detection and recovery where applicable.
- Carry out AC servicing, cleaning and pressure washing of indoor and outdoor units.
- Attend HVAC complaints and maintain proper cooling performance.
- Carry out PPM activities according to the approved maintenance schedule.
- Maintain equipment readings, service reports and maintenance records.
- Identify abnormalities and report major faults and spare-part requirements to the Supervisor/Engineer.
Other HVAC-Related Works
- Maintain AHU, FAHU, FCU, ventilation and exhaust fan systems.
- Check and maintain ventilation systems, fresh-air systems and ducting.
- Inspect belts, bearings, filters, dampers and motors.
- Assist with HVAC control and automation-related troubleshooting.
- Check air temperature, airflow and general HVAC system performance.
- Support major HVAC installation, replacement and modification works when required.
General FM Works
- Attend general FM maintenance complaints and work orders.
- Assist with electrical, plumbing, mechanical and civil maintenance works.
- Attend minor plumbing, drainage and water leakage complaints.
- Assist with basic electrical works such as lights, switches, sockets and MCBs.
- Support other FM maintenance teams during breakdowns and planned works.
- Conduct regular site inspections and report defects or abnormalities.
- Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Follow company, client and HSE procedures and safety requirements.
- Complete work orders and maintenance reports as instructed.
- Perform other FM, HVAC and maintenance-related duties assigned by the Supervisor/Engineer.
Candidate Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in HVAC, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field preferred.
- GCC experience is preferred.
- UAE FM/HVAC experience will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with 2–3 years of relevant chiller/HVAC experience are preferred.
- Knowledge of chillers, chilled water systems, pumps, cooling towers and HVAC equipment is preferred.
- Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting knowledge.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to learn and perform different FM-related activities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- UAE driving licence is an advantage.
