Role Propose:

Responsible for the delivery and retrieval of medical records, to all relevant areas within the hospital and in the Dallah Hospital campus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carries medical records from and to the Medical Records Library, as required by the reception/admission, OPD clinics, wards and the secondary storage area.

• Distributes daily reports, memos and other Medical Records Department correspondence to the appropriate recipients
• Implements appropriate policies and procedures to achieve the Hospital’s goals and objectives in pursuit of Standards of Care, Quality/ Performance Improvement.
• Performs any other tasks within his competence as directed by the Medical Records Manager or the Medical Records Supervisor.
• Fully aware and actively implement the departmental policies and procedures, local and international standards or requirements related to the department.
• Comply with the master cleaning schedule.

• Participate in hospital Safety Management & Risk Management Programs. Actively reports incidents in the system and whenever needed, participates in incident review, and root cause analysis.

Necessary Knowledge and Experience:

Previous experience of working in a medical records department.
