CADD Operator – Roads & Highways Jobs in Doha at Candidzone
About the Role
We’re hiring a CADD Operator to support a Roads & Highways design team in Doha, producing detailed 2D drawings — plans, profiles, cross sections, grading plans, and construction drawings — using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D. You’ll work closely with design engineers to turn engineering notes and sketches into finished, standards-compliant drawings.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare 2D design drawings for Roads/Highways: plans, profiles, cross sections, grading and construction drawings
- Take engineering notes, specifications, and rough sketches and formalize them into working drawings
- Prepare general arrangements, layout plans, profiles, cross sections, and structure details on a CAD workstation
- Perform dimensional and routine calculations; check layout and drawing accuracy, and file/maintain drawings
- Develop accurate and detailed 2D and 3D road models using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ensure compliance with CAD standards and the ISO 19650 workflow and approval process
What You’ll Need
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 – 6 years’ design and modeling experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, and ProjectWise/ACC Navigator
- Ability to model roads and highways design features in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills with project teams and stakeholders
Pay: QAR9,000.00 – QAR10,000.00 per month
