HIRING – CAD Editor (Architectural Model Making)
ARC 3D Printing Solutions LLC is looking for a skilled CAD Editor to join our production and design team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
We are seeking a detail oriented professional who can prepare, edit, and optimize CAD files for architectural scale model production and 3D printing workflows. The ideal candidate understands both digital design and fabrication requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and prepare CAD files for architectural model making
- Convert architectural drawings into production-ready files
- Clean, optimize, and scale 2D/3D CAD drawings
- Prepare files for laser cutting, CNC, and 3D printing
- Coordinate with design and workshop teams for accuracy
- Ensure all files meet production and technical requirements
- Fix drawing errors, alignment issues, and missing details
- Support workflow from design stage to fabrication stage
Requirements:
- Strong experience in CAD software (AutoCAD and/or similar tools)
- Understanding of architectural drawings and scale modeling
- Experience preparing files for fabrication (laser cutting / 3D printing)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects
- Experience in model making or architectural production preferred
- Basic knowledge of 3D printing or fabrication processes is a plus
