Educational Qualification
- Diploma or ITI in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
Experience
- 3–5 years in aluminum and glazing detailing.
- Experience in preparing:
- Shop drawings
- Fabrication drawings
- As-built drawings
- Material take-offs (MTO)
- Cutting lists
- Familiarity with major aluminum systems such as Schüco, Reynaers, Technal, Gulf Extrusions, Fitechnic, or similar.
Technical Skills
- AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks (preferred)
- Revit/BIM (preferred)
- Microsoft Office
- Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Knowledge of aluminum profiles, hardware, glass types, sealants, and fabrication methods.
- Understanding of applicable standards such as ASTM, BS, EN, or Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), as relevant.
