The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) serves as a strategic link between the IT department and business units, ensuring that IT services, initiatives, and solutions align with the organization’s business objectives. The BRM is instrumental in fostering collaboration, managing expectations, and delivering value through IT services.

Job Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact between IT and business units, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
Identify and analyze business needs, translating them into IT service requirements and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
Develop and maintain a business-IT strategy that aligns IT initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring that expectations are clearly defined, communicated, and met.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that projects and services are delivered with optimal quality, efficiency, and business value.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of IT services, ensuring they meet the changing needs of the business.
Facilitate the prioritization of IT projects to maximize the return on investment and align with business priorities.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and cost savings by leveraging IT services.
Develop and present regular reports on IT service performance and its impact on business outcomes to senior management.
Champion the adoption of new technologies or IT services within business units by building awareness and addressing concerns.

Skills

Essential Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and bridge gaps between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Deep understanding of business processes, workflows, and organizational structures.
Knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to address business-IT alignment issues.
Experience in managing stakeholder expectations and driving collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into actionable IT solutions.

Desirable Skills

Certifications such as BRMP (Business Relationship Management Professional) or ITIL Foundation.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and digital transformation strategies.
Experience in using relationship management tools or CRM platforms.
Familiarity with strategic planning and change management processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED20,000.00 per month
