Position Overview: The Restaurant Supervisor will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring that staff delivers outstanding service, and maintaining the highest standards of quality. You will supervise staff, ensure smooth customer service, and handle operational duties in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
Supervise the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient workflow.
Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and safety standards.
Manage guest interactions and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
Support the restaurant manager with staffing, scheduling, and training.
Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation protocols are followed.
Assist in controlling costs by managing inventory, waste, and ordering supplies.
Handle cash, process payments, and oversee the POS system.
Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of supervisory experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations and industry best practices.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Proficient in basic computer skills (POS systems, MS Office, etc.).
