Job Summary:
The Bobcat and Mini Excavator Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to perform excavation, grading, trenching, loading, backfilling, and site preparation for construction projects. The operator must ensure equipment is used efficiently, maintained properly, and operated in compliance with all safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Bobcat (Skid Steer Loader) and Mini Excavator safely and efficiently.
- Perform excavation, trenching, grading, leveling, backfilling, and material handling.
- Load and transport soil, sand, gravel, debris, and other construction materials.
- Conduct daily pre-start and post-operation equipment inspections.
- Report equipment defects, breakdowns, and maintenance requirements promptly.
- Follow site plans, supervisor instructions, and project specifications.
- Work safely around underground utilities, structures, and other equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to company safety policies, procedures, and local regulations.
- Assist with general site activities when equipment is not in operation.
- Keep accurate records of equipment operation, fuel usage, and daily activities.
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Valid heavy equipment operator license or certification, where required.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating Bobcat and Mini Excavators.
- Ability to read and interpret site drawings and work instructions.
- Good understanding of construction site safety practices.
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments.
Pay: Up to AED2,892.61 per month
