Biostatistician – Riyadh – King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital
Job Description
The Biostatistician is responsible for performing statistical analysis of data and research results. This includes testing the validity and significance of research findings, as well as providing statistical advice towards research project design and subject selection.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Biostatistics or Applied Mathematics from an accredited university (Essential).
Master’s Degree in Biostatistics or Epidemiology from an accredited university (Desirable).
Minimum three years working experience as a Biostatistician, with two years in statistical design/analysis in healthcare or medical research (Essential).
Key Responsibilities
Statistical Analysis and Research Support:Designs, implements, and reports on statistical research studies; provides consultation to investigators on experimental design and statistical approaches.
Develops analysis plans and reporting specifications; advises on statistical analysis strategies, measurement reliability, and model identifiability.
Data Management and Reporting:Prepares clinical trial documents and reports, protocols, investigator brochures, scientific abstracts.
Collaboration and
Education:Collaborates with epidemiologists and blindnesspreventionprograms; participates in symposia, seminars, and continuingeducationactivities at KKESH; contributes to hospital quality improvement projects; edits statistics for annual and monthly reports; teaches students, trainees, residents, fellows, and faculty through research projects and lectures.
Professional Development:Maintains knowledge of current trends in statistical analysis methodology; develops enhancements to statistical software by programming new techniques.
Confidentiality and Effectiveness:Performs duties in a professional, effective, and confidential manner.
