BIM Modelers / BIM Coordinators (ARC | STR | MEP) Jobs in Doha at Switzel International
Switzel International is expanding its Qatar BIM team and looking for experienced BIM Modelers and BIM Coordinators across Architecture, Structure, and MEP disciplines to support the delivery of major projects in Qatar and the Middle East.
We are seeking motivated BIM professionals with strong technical knowledge, coordination skills, and experience in delivering high-quality BIM models and project documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage BIM models for respective disciplines:
- Architectural
- Structural
- Mechanical (HVAC / Plumbing / Fire Protection)
- Electrical (Power / Lighting / ELV)
- Prepare and deliver:
- LOD 300/350/400/500 BIM models
- Shop drawings
- Construction documentation
- As-built BIM models
- Perform BIM coordination and support clash resolution workflows.
- Coordinate with Architecture, Structure, and MEP teams for integrated project delivery.
- Review models and drawings to ensure quality and project compliance.
- Follow project requirements including:
- BIM Execution Plans (BEP)
- Client BIM standards
- Model naming and information requirements
- CDE workflows
- Support Navisworks coordination meetings and issue tracking.
- Collaborate with Switzel’s international teams on BIM projects.
Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 3–8 years of BIM experience (depending on position level).
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Autodesk Revit
- Navisworks Manage
- AutoCAD
- ACC / BIM 360 (preferred)
- Understanding of:
- BIM workflows
- Clash detection process
- LOD requirements
- Shop drawing production
- As-built documentation
- Qatar / Middle East project experience is preferred.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
