As we prepare to open, we’re looking for an experienced Barista to join our founding team and help establish the coffee experience at Casa Vero from day one.
The Role
We’re looking for someone who genuinely understands coffee and takes pride in consistency, technique, presentation, and hospitality.
This is a dedicated Barista position. We want someone confident behind an espresso machine who understands how to produce consistently excellent coffee throughout service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso-based beverages to a consistently high standard
- Dial in espresso and adjust grind settings throughout the day
- Properly texture and steam milk for different beverages
- Prepare cappuccinos, flat whites, lattes, americanos, espressos, and other menu beverages
- Maintain consistency in extraction, taste, temperature, and presentation
- Prepare and present mocktails and specialty non-alcoholic drinks
- Produce clean and consistent latte art
- Maintain and clean the espresso machine, grinders, and bar equipment
- Keep the coffee station organized, clean, and properly stocked
- Monitor coffee beans, milk, and other beverage inventory
- Follow recipes, portioning, hygiene, and quality standards
- Provide warm and knowledgeable service to guests
What We’re Looking For
- Previous professional experience as a Barista
- Hands-on experience preparing mocktails and specialty beverages
- Strong understanding of espresso extraction and grinder adjustment
- Good knowledge of coffee beans, grind size, dose, yield, and extraction
- Strong milk-steaming and microfoam technique
- Latte art skills
- Experience working with professional espresso machines and grinders
- Strong attention to quality and consistency
- Clean, organized, and comfortable working during busy service
- Friendly and confident with guests
- UAE café or restaurant experience is an advantage
