Automotive Denter (Panel Beater)Job Summary
The Automotive Denter (Panel Beater) is responsible for repairing damaged vehicle body panels, chassis, and structural components to OEM standards. The role involves restoring vehicles to their original condition using professional repair techniques while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect damaged vehicles and assess repair requirements.
- Repair or replace damaged body panels and structural components.
- Perform chassis and frame alignment using computerized measuring and straightening equipment.
- Carry out metal shaping, dent removal, welding, and panel beating.
- Restore body panel fit, alignment, and finish to manufacturer specifications.
- Prepare repaired surfaces for painting.
- Report additional damage and coordinate with the workshop team.
- Complete repairs within allocated time while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work area.
- Follow OEM repair procedures and health & safety regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automotive Denter/Panel Beater.
- Experience with European luxury vehicles (Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen, Land Rover, Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of chassis and frame alignment.
- Skilled in repairing steel and aluminum body panels.
- Ability to read repair estimates and manufacturer repair manuals.
- Good attention to detail, teamwork, and time management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Technical certification in Automotive Body Repair or a related field is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Automotive Denter (Panel Beater).
- Proven experience working on European vehicles, including brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen, Land Rover, Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and similar premium manufacturers.
