Job Scope
The Auto Electrician & AC Technician is responsible for the installation, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of automotive electrical, electronic, and air-conditioning systems in passenger vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
· Diagnose faults and malfunctions in automotive electrical and electronic systems using diagnostic tools and technical manuals
· Inspect, service, repair, and replace wiring, harnesses, relays, connectors, sensors, control units, alternators, starters, and electrical accessories
· Repair and maintain lighting, charging, battery, engine management, and comfort systems
· Troubleshoot complex electrical faults and recommend effective repair solutions
· Install and configure electrical systems including infotainment, alarms, sensors, and accessory electronics
· Conduct preventive maintenance on vehicle electrical systems and record findings
· Diagnose faults in vehicle air-conditioning (HVAC) systems including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and expansion components
· Inspect and test AC components, refrigerant levels, and system performance using appropriate tools and gauges
· Repair and replace faulty AC components, hoses, seals, belts, and electrical HVAC controls
· Carry out refrigerant evacuation, recovery, and recharging in compliance with environmental and safety standards
· Identify and repair AC leaks using approved testing methods
· Clean, flush, and maintain AC systems to manufacturer specifications with A/C machine
· Ensure proper calibration and operation of climate control units and sensors
· Test repaired systems to verify reliability, performance, and safety
· Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to supervisors and colleagues
· Coordinate with workshop teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely job completion
· Ensure all work is performed safely and in line with manufacturer and company standards
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
Industrial / Technical Diploma in Auto Electrical, Automotive Technology, or related field (preferred)
Experience
2–4 years’ experience in automotive electrical and AC system maintenance and repair (light vehicles)
Knowledge
– Strong knowledge of modern automotive electrical and electronic systems and air-conditioning systems
– Understanding of diagnostic tools and vehicle electrical schematics
– AC repair
– Refrigerant handling
– Awareness of latest developments in automotive electrical technology
Language Skills
– English: Moderate
– Arabic: Moderate

Pay: From QAR2,500.00 per month
