Job Summary:
The Auto Electrician isresponsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining electricalsystems in vehicles including wiring batteries alternators startersand lighting systems. The role requires expertise in
modern
vehicleelectronics including sensors control units and diagnostictools.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose electrical issues in vehicles usingdiagnostic tools.
Repair and replace faultywiring fuses relays and other electricalcomponents.
Install and maintain vehiclesecurity systems GPS and entertainmentunits.
Test and repair alternators starters andbattery systems.
Work with computerized andelectronic systems including ABS ECU and CAN busnetworks.
Ensure all electrical repairs complywith safety standards and manufacturerguidelines.
Keep records of repairs andmaintenance performed.
Stay updated with thelatest vehicle electrical technologies.
Requirements:
Diploma or certification in Auto Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Provenexperience as an Auto Electrician.
Strongknowledge of vehicle electrical and electronicsystems.
Ability to read and interpretelectrical diagrams and manuals.
Familiaritywith diagnostic tools and software.
Excellentproblemsolving skills and attention todetail.
