Assistant Quantity Surveyor (UAE Infra Exp Only) Jobs in Dubai at China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation
CCECC Dubai is hiring an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for one of its major Dubai RTA infrastructure projects involving roads, bridges, underpasses, utilities, drainage, and associated civil works.
The selected candidate will support the commercial and quantity surveying team in quantity take-offs, subcontractor evaluations, interim payment applications, cost monitoring, variation management, and preparation of project-related commercial documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bills of quantities for civil and infrastructure works.
- Review drawings, specifications, tender documents, and contract requirements.
- Support the preparation and evaluation of subcontractor payment applications.
- Assist in preparing interim payment applications for submission to the consultant and client.
- Verify completed quantities through site measurements and approved drawings.
- Maintain records of measurements, variations, additional works, and subcontractor claims.
- Assist in preparing variation orders, rate analyses, and supporting commercial documents.
- Coordinate with site engineers, planning teams, procurement, subcontractors, and the commercial department.
- Monitor material usage, subcontractor progress, and project costs against the approved budget.
- Assist in preparing monthly cost reports, cash-flow information, and cost-to-complete forecasts.
- Support the commercial team in claims, Extension of Time-related cost documentation, and contractual correspondence.
- Ensure all quantity surveying records are properly maintained and updated.
- Comply with CCECC, consultant, client, and Dubai RTA project procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of quantity surveying experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Experience in roads, bridges, utilities, drainage, underpasses, interchanges, or major civil infrastructure projects is an advantage.
- Previous experience on Dubai RTA projects will be highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of quantity take-offs, measurement, interim payments, variations, and subcontractor billing.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQ documents.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying documentation.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, CostX, PlanSwift, or similar measurement software is an advantage.
- Good communication, coordination, numerical, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE will be preferred.

Pay: AED4,500.00 – AED6,000.00 per month
