ABOUT THE ROLE

We are searching for a talented and passionate Assistant Pastry Chef to join the culinary team at a prominent luxury lifestyle hotel in Doha, Qatar. Supporting the Executive Pastry Chef, you will play a key role in delivering world-class pastries, desserts, and baked creations that reflect the creativity and sophistication of a truly exceptional dining program.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods across the property
• Support menu development and the creation of seasonal offerings alongside the Executive Pastry Chef
• Maintain consistency, quality, and meticulous attention to detail across all pastry output
• Uphold hygiene and food safety standards at all times
• Assist with stock monitoring and inventory control within the pastry kitchen
• Support and mentor junior team members as required

WHAT YOU BRING

• Formal culinary training from a French school of Culinary Arts is strongly preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment
• Strong command of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert presentation
• A creative, detail-oriented approach with genuine passion for the pastry arts
• Ability to perform at a high standard in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
