Assistant Meal Plan Co Ordinator Jobs in Dubai at Abdulla Al Arif Investment

1. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):

o Assist in maintaining standard operating procedures for meal planning, food safety, and kitchen operations.

o Ensure SOPs are followed consistently, including proper food handling, portion control, and cleanliness standards.

o Review and update SOPs regularly to reflect changes in operational needs, food trends, or regulatory requirements.

2. Back of the House Operation:

o Support the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth coordination between the meal planning team and kitchen staff.

o Monitor inventory levels and assist in sourcing, ensuring timely procurement from approved suppliers.

o Help manage food preparation schedules and workflows to meet client demand and service timelines.

3. Communication:

o Act as a liaison between the meal planning team, kitchen staff, external vendors, and clients to ensure seamless communication and timely updates.

o Relay client feedback to the Meal Plan Coordinator and other team members, offering recommendations for improvements in the meal plan offerings.

o Coordinate meal plan modifications or substitutions with the kitchen and client-facing teams when necessary.

o Ensure all dietary restrictions and preferences are clearly communicated and understood by relevant teams.

o Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

o Proficient in tracking and managing inventory, meal plans, and schedules to ensure efficiency and consistency.

2. Attention to Detail:

o Strong attention to detail in meal planning, portion sizes, ingredient selection, and adherence to dietary guidelines.

o Ability to maintain accurate records, including menus, nutritional information, and client preferences.

3. Communication and Team Collaboration:

o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with clients, staff, and external vendors.

o Ability to clearly articulate needs and expectations and listen to others’ input.

4. Problem Solving:

o Quick thinking and adaptable, especially when handling changes to meal plans, ingredient shortages, or customer feedback.

o Proactive in addressing any operational challenges and finding solutions.

5. Technical Competence:

o Basic knowledge of nutrition, food safety standards, and dietary restrictions.

o Familiarity with meal planning software and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) to manage schedules, co ordinations and communications.

6. Time Management:

o Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, ensuring meal plans are dispatched on time while maintaining high standards of quality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 – AED3,500.00 per month
