A leading Automobile Equipment & Machinery Trading Company in the UAE is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager Accounts / Manager Accounts to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, VAT & Corporate Tax compliance, inventory accounting, budgeting, and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations of the company.
- Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation activities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and banking transactions.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Oversee inventory accounting and reconciliation for machinery, equipment, and spare parts.
- Monitor customer credit limits, collections, and aging reports.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Ensure proper internal controls and adherence to company policies.
- Support management with financial analysis and business decision-making.
- Lead, train, and supervise the accounts team.
- Liaise with banks regarding facilities, guarantees, LC, and financing requirements.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or equivalent.
- ACCA / CPA / CMA (Qualified or Part Qualified preferred).
- Minimum 7-10 years of accounting experience, preferably in UAE trading companies.
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and IFRS.
- Experience in inventory accounting and trading business operations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
