Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assets Surveyor to join our Facilities Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting asset surveys, maintaining accurate asset records, assessing asset conditions, and supporting lifecycle and maintenance planning. The role requires strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and experience with asset management systems to ensure the organization’s physical assets are accurately documented and effectively managed.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive surveys of buildings, MEP systems, equipment, furniture, fixtures, and other facility assets.
- Create, update, and maintain a complete asset inventory with unique asset identification.
- Assess the condition of assets and identify maintenance, repair, or replacement requirements.
- Collect and maintain detailed asset information, including specifications, installation dates, warranties, and maintenance history.
- Ensure all asset data is accurately recorded and maintained within the CAFM/Asset Management System.
- Prepare asset condition reports, lifecycle assessments, and maintenance recommendations.
- Support preventive maintenance planning by providing accurate asset information.
- Coordinate with facility management teams, contractors, and stakeholders during asset surveys and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and relevant asset management standards.
- Participate in asset verification, audits, and handover inspections.
- Perform other duties related to asset management and facilities operations as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Surveying, Asset Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in asset surveying, facilities management, engineering, or asset management is preferred.
- Professional certifications in Asset Management or Facilities Management are considered an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of building assets, MEP systems, and facility infrastructure.
- Experience conducting asset condition assessments and lifecycle evaluations.
- Proficiency in CAFM systems, asset management software, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple site surveys while meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of asset management best practices and facilities management standards is preferred.
