Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mason to carry out block work, plastering, and general masonry activities for construction and fit-out projects. The candidate should be experienced in handling different types of masonry materials and ensuring quality workmanship as per project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform block laying (concrete blocks, hollow blocks, solid blocks)
- Carry out plastering, rendering, and surface finishing works
- Read and follow drawings, layouts, and site instructions
- Prepare mortar mixes and ensure proper curing of masonry work
- Execute tile fixing (basic) and screeding works when required
- Repair cracks, damaged walls, and existing structures
- Maintain proper alignment, level, and verticality of walls
- Ensure safety practices and housekeeping at the work site
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades on-site
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason in construction projects
- Knowledge of block work, plastering, and finishing techniques
- Ability to read basic drawings and measurements
- Experience in tile fixing and waterproofing works
- Knowledge of different mortar ratios and materials
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment
- Good physical strength and stamina
- UAE/GCC experience preferred
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
