AI Automation & Software Engineer Jobs in Dubai at Sustainable Solution Project Management
We are seeking an engineer who can leverage AI to build software with discipline and sound judgment. In this role, you will contribute across automation pipelines, backend systems & APIs, portals and applications, using AI-assisted tools to work efficiently without compromising on quality. We are hiring for the ability to understand the code being produced, to architect how systems fit together, and to validate work thoroughly before it reaches production.
Key Requirements
– Ability to read, understand and write code — following its logic, articulating its behavior, and identifying errors rather than accepting output at face value.
– Able to map a feature as an end-to-end flow and understand how interconnected components and services depend upon one another when designing a solution.
– Examining edge cases, reproducing issues, and treating a single successful run as the beginning of testing rather than its conclusion. Following proper testing and debugging procedures before deploying updates.
– Use of AI (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) as a capable assistant rather than a decision maker. Proper understanding of the strengths and gaps of LLMs, always exercising human reasoning when dealing with problems.
– Proficiency with databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL, and Supabase — able to design, query, and manage data effectively.
– Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining applications in production, using approaches such as VPS hosting, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines, with an understanding of how code moves from development to live.
– Strong communication skills — able to clearly explain technical decisions, trade-offs, and progress to both technical and non-technical team members.
Qualifications
– A degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
– A solid foundation in programming fundamentals (variables, control flow, data structures, APIs, and databases).
– Practical experience working with AI tools and LLM platforms such as OpenAI and Claude.
– A portfolio of past projects that demonstrates your strengths and the kind of work you are capable of.
– Familiarity with TypeScript/React, Node.js, Python, or Flutter/Dart.
– Experience with Git, testing practices, REST APIs, webhooks, or third-party integrations.
