Agricultural Technician – Full-Time
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Agricultural Technician to join our team in Riyadh.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily agricultural, landscaping, and plant maintenance activities.
- Monitor the health and condition of plants, trees, shrubs, lawns, and crops.
- Carry out planting, transplanting, pruning, trimming, fertilizing, and irrigation activities.
- Operate and maintain irrigation systems, pumps, valves, and related equipment.
- Identify plant diseases, pests, nutrient deficiencies, and other agricultural problems.
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and other treatments safely according to instructions.
- Monitor soil conditions and support soil preparation and improvement activities.
- Operate agricultural tools, machinery, and equipment safely.
- Maintain nurseries, gardens, green areas, and planted areas as required.
- Keep records of irrigation, fertilization, treatments, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with supervisors and landscaping/agricultural teams.
- Follow company safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma, certificate, or relevant qualification in Agriculture, Horticulture, Landscaping, or a related field.
- Previous experience as an Agricultural Technician or similar position.
- Good knowledge of plants, irrigation, fertilizers, pesticides, and agricultural practices.
- Practical experience with irrigation systems and agricultural equipment.
- Ability to identify common plant diseases and pests.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Saudi Arabia/GCC experience is preferred.
- Valid Saudi Iqama is preferred.
- Candidates currently available in Riyadh are preferred.
