ACCOUNTANT – PLASTIC INDUSTRY & READY-MIX CONCRETE
Location: Dubai And Abu Dhabi
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: Minimum 4 years
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with hands-on experience in the plastic manufacturing industry and/or ready-mix concrete industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, journal entries, and other accounting documents.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory, raw materials, production costs, and finished goods.
- Prepare and monitor production costing and cost analysis.
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, warehouse, and operations teams regarding accounting and inventory matters.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
- Monitor customer collections and supplier payments.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
- Assist with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and related documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial records and supporting documents.
- Maintain accurate records in the accounting/ERP system.
- Perform other accounting and financial duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in the plastic manufacturing industry and ready-mix concrete industry is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of general accounting, inventory accounting, and cost accounting.
- Experience with production costing, stock reconciliation, and material consumption is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- UAE experience is preferred.
