Accountant Officer
Job Location: UAE – Abu Dhabi
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant Officer to join our team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions.
- Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and periodic reports.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
