Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Accountant with at least 1 year of experience and expertise in Zoho Books to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
Maintain and update financial records in Zoho Books.
Prepare VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
Reconcile bank statements and manage financial reporting.
Process invoices, payments, payroll, and expense tracking.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders as needed.
Ensure financial accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of accounting experience.
Proficiency in Zoho Books (mandatory).
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the interior design or construction industry is a plus.
Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
Knowledge of other accounting software is beneficial.
