Accountant – Interior Design & Fit-Out Company Jobs in Dubai at We Do Decoration Design & Fitout L.L.C
WE DO Interior Design & Fit-Out L.L.C. is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company’s day-to-day accounting, financial records, payments, receivables, and project-related financial documentation.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of *UAE accounting practices, VAT, Corporate Tax, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation. Previous experience with an **interior design, fit-out, construction, contracting, or similar project-based company* will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
* Handle *accounts payable and accounts receivable*.
* Prepare and issue client invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and credit notes.
* Follow up on *outstanding client payments and receivables*.
* Process supplier and subcontractor invoices and maintain payment schedules.
* Perform regular *bank and cash reconciliations*.
* Maintain petty cash records and expense documentation.
* Prepare monthly *Profit & Loss, cash flow, and other management reports*.
* Maintain project-wise records of income, expenses, supplier payments, and outstanding amounts.
* Assist in monitoring *project costs and budgets*.
* Prepare and maintain *UAE VAT records and VAT return documentation*.
* Support *UAE Corporate Tax compliance* and coordinate with auditors/tax consultants when required.
* Manage payroll-related accounting records and supporting documentation.
* Maintain proper filing of invoices, LPOs, quotations, contracts, receipts, and financial documents.
* Coordinate with management, suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and internal project teams regarding financial matters.
* Assist with year-end closing, audits, and financial reporting.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in *Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field*.
* Previous accounting experience in the UAE preferred.
* Good understanding of *UAE VAT and Corporate Tax*.
* Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, AP/AR, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
* Experience in *interior fit-out, construction, contracting, or project-based businesses* is an advantage.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
* Good communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and coordinate directly with management.
* Candidates currently available in the UAE will be preferred.
